Press Release

Luis De Jesus Los Angeles is very pleased to announce our participation in the inaugural edition of UNTITLED, ART Online, powered by Artland, the world’s first immersive virtual-reality (VR) art fair.
For this inaugural edition, the Gallery will present works by artists Peter Williams, Carla Jay Harris, Jim Adams, June Edmonds, and Gabriel Sanchez.

The centerpiece of our presentation in Booth A11 will be a set of new paintings by Peter Williams titled The George Floyd Triptych (2020), which the artist created in direct response to the death of George Floyd this past May in Minneapolis. These are without doubt among the most powerful paintings that have been produced in relation to this subject.

In conjunction with our presentation of The George Floyd Triptych, we are also pleased to announce, as part of the fair's speaker series, a live conversation on Zoom between Peter Williams and noted poet and critic John Yau on Saturday, August 1, at 2pm EDT (11am PDT). It promises to be a very engaging and memorable conversation. There is no fee for this event and all are welcome to attend.

Simulating UNTITLED, ART Miami’s famed light-filled tent and beachfront setting, this fully immersive and interactive experience allows visitors to freely navigate the fair, bringing to life the pleasure of discovering artists and artworks in individually curated booths inside a three-dimensional environment.  Visitors can even use their own VR goggles to further immerse themselves in the experience.  Other cutting-edge interactive features allow dealers and collectors to communicate in real time and a built-in intuitive e-commerce platform. See you on the e-beach!

HOURS & ACCESS:

The fair will launch on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11am EDT and run 24-hours a day through midnight on Sunday, August 9, 2020.
