The Tarble Arts Center (TAC) is pleased to present a full-scale, survey exhibition on the work of Federico Solmi. This exhibition will highlight important works from 2005 and up to present. Drawings, paintings, Artist’s books & process books, edition boxes, video paintings and projections are featured within the TAC’s main gallery space -- over 4,000 sq ft and showcasing 40 pieces from Solmi’s prolific body of work. A full-color exhibition catalogue featuring the writing of Luis De Jesus, Dan Cameron, Larry Ossei-Mensah, and exhibition curator, Mike Schuetz will accompany the exhibition. This exhibition was made possible with the cooperation of the Federico Solmi Studio in New York, Luis De Jesus Los Angeles, Ronald Feldman Gallery in New York, and the Carl and Marilynn Thoma Art Foundation in Chicago.
